Instead of working on coding for my Objective-C/iPhone app development class midterm, I’m busy making a mess, both carving and melting wax, to redo my rings project. I’m doing something different this time. Whether I’m going to do something I had sketched out, try to redo what I’d done before, or just let them develop organically into something different, I haven’t completely decided. We’ll see what the wax wants to do.

My gemstones for my next project arrived from Rio Grande today, and I have some more wax, a glass alcohol burner, and some denatured alcohol on the way from Amazon. The candle is serving the purpose at home, but I’d rather have the clean burn of the alcohol. I’m excited about this next one, and I’m going to be creating it in Sterling Silver. It’s a “found object” project, and mine will be a bracelet.
